Amazing Friends

Here are two of our amazing friends, Marilyn and Margaret. They are a lot of fun to be around and are some of the friendliest people I know! These sisters are putting on a shower to honor both Mark and myself with members in our singles ward. Not only are they putting on the shower for us, but their dad has made my bouquet, the boutonnieres, and corsages for our wedding. I am very excited to see the final result at the upcoming shower :)




Our friend, Tami loves taking pictures! Over the years, she has taken pictures at a variety of events and activities that we have attended. She has even taken some pictures of Mark and myself while we were only friends and also pictures after we started dating. She is helping us gather photos to be used on our DVD at the reception.




Ellen is another good friend of ours! She loves to sew and is very knowledgeable when it comes to fabric. Mark and I have made several visits to see Ellen and discuss different ideas for decorating our tables at the reception. Along with Marilyn and Margaret, she is also helping with my upcoming bridal shower.




Our friend, Rebekah is one of the busiest friends in regards to our wedding. At this time, I don't have a picture of her readily available. Here is a picture of me at the Alpha Rose Passing that she hosted, so Mark and I could announce our engagement.

In addition to the Rose Passing, Rebekah is throwing a bridal shower for me to celebrate with my sorority sisters. She has also been working with her brother to provide the linens for our reception tables. This has been a huge relief and is saving us a lot of time. Not only that, but she has volunteered to sing at our ring exchange.

These are only a few of OUR AMAZING FRIENDS!!! In addition, there are several friends who helped us with removing wallpaper from our home recently. Other friends are also gathering photos for us. We have received offers from friends who are willing to watch Princess while we are on our honeymoon. Others are willing to address envelopes for us. Another friend will be supervising the kitchen for our reception and will recruit help.

We truly are blessed with amazing friends in our lives who are willing to help out in any possible way. They say that it takes a community to raise a child... well, I say that it takes a lot of love and friendship to plan a wedding.
